At the time of Prophet Muhammad, in the Land of Yemen there is a young man called Uwais Al-Qorni. For there is no longer owned by relatives and since childhood he had been orphaned. The only family he had was his mother was old and suffering from blindness and deafness.
Wages he received from herding cattle just enough for living with his mother, when there is excess often he gave to neighbors in need. Therefore, even though he was a poor boy but very loved and respected by his neighbors.
Islamic teachings to educate and teach the noble character, in a relatively short gain sympathy and has had plenty of adherents in the country of Yemen. Similarly, the Uwais Al-Qorni, he has come to know and practice the teachings diligently. The story of the Prophet often he heard from the neighbors who have been to Medina. In those days many people are visiting Yemen to Medina to meet the Holy Prophet, they want to receive teachings directly from him saw, which then will they spread widely disseminated after his return in Affairs.
When Uwais Al-Qorni heard the news of the battle of Uhud, the Prophet Muhammad have caused injury because of exposed stones and broken teeth, then immediately he menggetok his teeth with a stone until broken. Thus love of Uwais Al Qorni against Rasululloh saw.
Encouragement of love and longing Uwais Al-Qorni against the Prophet made him want to visit Medina for menemuainya. "When I can religious visit to the Prophet Muhammad and looked at his face up close" according to his conscience. But on the other hand he could not leave her just like that. This makes him nervous, day and night his mind filled with longing look at the face of the Prophet. Until one day he came up to her and deliver her heart about the miss to meet the Holy Prophet, and begged to be allowed to leave religious visit to the Prophet Muhammad in Medina.
Hearing requests that his son's touching it nor understand it: "Go, O Uwais anaku, see a prophet in his house, and had met with him immediately when you return home". Hear what her mother is allowed to go, Uwais very happy heart. Then immediately he needs his mother to pack and prepare to be left behind, as he gave the message to a few nearby neighbors in order to accompany his mother while he was gone.
After kissing her mother goodbye and then he went to Medina. The journey he traveled on foot by crossing the hills and the vast desert, with a very harsh nature and many disorders, ranging from the rogues - the desert heat during the day was a sea of fire at night until you feel the bone-chilling cold. However this is not felt as a strong willingness to meet and see the face of the Prophet who has been loved and missed.
Not told how long the journey which he traveled. Arriving in Medina Uwais Al-Qorni immediately looking for a house of the Prophet Muhammad. And to find the house of the Prophet is not a difficult job. Once in front of the door of the Prophet he said "greetings" to the solemn and polite, because there is no immediate answer from the house was empty then repeat Uwais greetings to several times. After waiting a while before there is an answer from a woman "wa'alaikum greet" with the woman rushed toward the door to meet Uwais. So with decorum she quickly excused herself to Sitti A'ishah to immediately return to Yemen, he just left a greeting to the Prophet Muhammad, whom she loved.
After the Prophet Muhammad returned and were in his house, he saw asking people to look. Then Sitti A'ishah was told about the arrival of a young man from the country of Yemen who wanted to meet with the Prophet, but the young man was not willing to wait till the Prophet returned because he could not stay long to leave his mother. The Prophet explained the Uwais Al Qorni to his companions: "He is of heaven when you see it, notice it has a white mark in the middle of the palm of his hand". Then the Prophet looked to Ali and Umar ra ra and said: "One time, when you meet with it, ask for prayer and istighfarnya "----
